Seawall gears up for Mardi Gras

Bad timing for a party, perhaps, considering I’m being laid off tomorrow, but on the other hand, reason enough and all the more for a little cheer!
P.S. Notwithstanding my NASA layoff, which is all about budget dollars and nothing about good works and fine deeds, a giant salute nevertheless to our old and noble friend Discovery, whose successful lift-off this afternoon was her final, farewell launch.
We at NASA, both current and former, wish you Godspeed, Discovery. You and your crew are a testament to the best in all of us…
But back to the truly important things in life, like tinsel and colored hats. I do so have a passion for purple, green, and gold, and with Mardi Gras season upon us again, my finest fashion aspirations are about to be realized. Let the flinging of beads (often followed by the hurling of beads) commence!
