But while we’re at it, a bubbly toast to you, too, my dear sister Rosy, best friend since Jeff, womanly confidante and last stalwart roommate, back in 2008, at this old and molding and corroding hotel, my little quasi-urban warrior willing to lay her pristine head on a cheap flat pillow in this (even then) disintegrating destination, all to buoy her little sister after tragedy struck, to help her to recover, relocate, rejuvenate, begin anew.
